We Came for Pickleball. We Stayed for the People. The Picklr Turns One at Jessup Farm!

This November, The Picklr Fort Collins celebrates its first anniversary at Jessup Farm. Behind that milestone is a year of learning, laughter, friendly competition and people who have made the club part of their everyday lives.

On Friday, November 6th The Picklr will celebrate with free open play, food, drinks and the community that made year one possible.

Over the past year, The Picklr Fort Collins has built leagues, hosted tournaments, organized events and worked with local organizations to introduce more people to pickleball. Each has given players a different way to get involved, whether they’re learning the basics, improving their skills or putting their game to the test.

But some of the best stories have happened between those scheduled activities.

People who arrived without knowing anyone have found their groups. Beginners who weren’t sure what to expect have become regulars who are hard to get off the courts. A game with a new partner has turned into a friendship. Familiar faces have become people players look forward to seeing each week.

That’s what this first anniversary celebrates: everything that has grown since the doors opened.

The Picklr’s members have helped shape the club from the beginning. They’ve shown up, welcomed new players, brought friends and filled the courts with energy. Their enthusiasm has helped turn a new facility into a place where people feel they belong.

The staff and instructors have been part of that story every step of the way, helping first-time players get comfortable, supporting those ready for a challenge and keeping the club running day after day.

Local organizations, guests and supporters have helped introduce the club to the wider community, too.

This anniversary is a chance to recognize all of them and say thank you for a memorable first year.

The Picklr has brought a new reason to visit Jessup Farm and a reason to return throughout the week. League nights, clinics, tournaments and casual games bring people together here, adding another way to enjoy this Fort Collins gathering place.

November 6th is a chance to bring that whole first-year story together. Catch up with the people you’ve played alongside, reconnect with someone from your first clinic or join the celebration as a new face.

The event is free to attend. Free open play and courts designated by level of play are in 2 hour sessions starting at 2pm and going through 10pm. Food and drinks will be part of the festivities, and members and guests are welcome. No partner is needed. Bring your paddle or borrow one at the club.

Come celebrate the progress, the friendships and the people who made The Picklr’s first year at Jessup Farm special. Register online for the first-anniversary celebration.
