Kindness Matters at Jessup Farm - Support Animal Friends Alliance This Spring

At Jessup Farm, we love seeing neighbors connect, share stories, and lift each other up through small acts of kindness. This April, we’re excited to invite you to join us for Kindness Matters, a community donation drive that not only helps animals in need, but also brings friends and families closer. From April 13th to April 30th, your generosity and participation will help make a difference right here in our village.

Supporting Animal Friends Alliance

We’re proud to shine a spotlight on Animal Friends Alliance. This local nonprofit is filled with passionate folks who pour their hearts into caring for animals in need all across Northern Colorado. Their team offers safe shelter, loving attention, and the medical care every dog and cat deserves, helping each one find their way to a family and a forever home.

Animal shelters and rescue organizations rely heavily on the generosity of their communities to keep their daily operations running smoothly. Every donated item frees up valuable financial resources that Animal Friends Alliance can redirect toward critical veterinary care and rescue efforts. By partnering with them, Jessup Farm aims to stock their shelves with the everyday supplies they need the most. We want to ensure these dedicated caretakers have exactly what they need to keep the animals happy, healthy, and comfortable.

How You Can Participate

Getting involved with Kindness Matters is easy, and every little bit helps. We invite you to pick up a few much-needed items and drop them off at any participating Jessup Farm business. Whether you bring just one thing or an armful of supplies, you’ll be making a real difference for animals who are waiting for their forever homes.

Requested Donation Items

To help you make the biggest impact, Animal Friends Alliance put together a list of the supplies they need most, and we’ve organized it to make your donation trip simple and stress-free.

We can’t leave out our feline friends! The shelter is always grateful for high-quality food and tasty treats for cats of all ages. If you’d like to help, here’s what you can bring:

  • Cat food

  • Canned chicken in water

  • Churu (a highly requested, lickable pureed cat treat)

A Year of Giving: Looking Ahead

The April Kindness Matters drive is just the start of our journey to support and uplift our community this year. We’re looking ahead to even more opportunities to give back, with plans to join forces with two more local nonprofits in August and November. Each effort is another chance to rally together and make a meaningful difference for Northern Colorado—one act of kindness at a time.

Please gather your supplies, invite your friends, and head over to the Jessup Farm to help us support Animal Friends Alliance. Your participation truly makes a difference!
